What is Biophysics@Rome
Biophysics@rome is an initiative promoted in 2014 with the aim of creating a common space for discussion and valorization of skills, results, and experiences in the field of Biophysics in the Rome area. It represents a new way of networking and integrating knowledge developed across diverse fields, fostering dialogue between adjacent and complementary disciplines in a climate of sharing and mutual stimulation. In support of this initiative, which originated within the CNR (National Research Council) and has gradually expanded to universities and research and outreach institutions such as the Italian Society of Pure and Applied Biophysics (SIBPA), a periodic series of dedicated conferences has been launched, held every two years in Rome. This appointment has enjoyed growing success nationally and internationally, giving priority to young researchers and laying the foundation for new collaborations and projects.
